This wonderful Fall 2010 ad from Tommy Hilfiger featured on Chic Weekender Blog, reminds me of the really warm wool blankets that we grew up with.  Wool blankets are worth the investment as they are so much warmer than down or feather blankets.  Being a Canadian I remember some of the vintage wool blankets from Hudson Bay company, and today I was surprised to see you can still order the classic Point pattern that has been popular for years.  These wool blankets are very beautiful to look at, and are great heirlooms to pass down through families.
