Actor Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly find the comfort of home being surrounded by country rustic furnishings. The interior is “relaxed, comfortable; you walk in and throw your feet up—but at the same time, they’re artistic,” she tells Architectural Digest. Interior designers John and Krista Everage brought a farmhouse look to the space, adding rough-hewn beams from a Pennsylvania barn to the living room. “Dennis and I are really lucky because we have the same taste in things,” says Kimberly. “We’d see something and just instantly know that’s what we wanted.” The home is based around distressed leather, detailed painted furnishings, and country undertones. The garden is landscaped with oaks and fruit trees including avocado, apples, peaches, lemons, limes and figs. What a home! See additional photos at Gossip Rocks.
